Posted September 23, 2019

In today’s world there seems to be a “Fountain of Youth” solution to all of life’s problems. And while conventional wisdom can help you get your life refocused, you’re going to need a different set of skills to keep you consistently reaching your goals at each new level. Here’s how to you can use God’s word to 30x, 60x and 100x your results every time.

Why God’s Words Are Powerful

It’s hard to fully grasp the power of God’s words. Our words are intangible variables we use to attribute to tangible things. We use words to describe what we see. We use words to help people understand how we feel. We use words to illustrate stories, explain past events, or to evoke hopes we have for our future. For us words are the communicative by-product of the experiences we have that shape our world.

God’s words are different. God’s words aren’t the by-product of who he is, they are the essence of who he is. In John chapter 1 the bible says this;

“In the beginning [before all time] was the Word ([a]Christ), and the Word was with God, and the Word was God [b]Himself. He was present originally with God. All things were made and came into existence through Him; and without Him was not even one thing made that has come into being.” (vs. 1-3; Amp)

What this verse is saying is that God’s words are the genesis of all things that are created. This means that (contrary to our words which describe the tangible elements of our world), God’s words are substantive, enormously powerful and colossally creative.

God’s Word Is a Seed

Jesus described on numerous occasions what the realm of God looked like and how it operated. And in more than one story he said that God’s word worked like a “seed”.

Check this story out from Mark chapter 4;

“A farmer went out to sow his seed. As he was scattering the seed, some fell along the path, and the birds came and ate it up. Some fell on rocky places, where it did not have much soil. It sprang up quickly, because the soil was shallow. But when the sun came up, the plants were scorched, and they withered because they had no root. Other seed fell among thorns, which grew up and choked the plants, so that they did not bear grain. Still other seed fell on good soil. It came up, grew and produced a crop, some multiplying thirty, some sixty, some a hundred times.” (verses 3-8; NIV)

One of the key points from this story relates to the action the farmer took in putting the seed in the right soil (Mark 4:14-20). Although every seed contains the power and potential for life, it lies dormant until it is planted in the proper soil.

The same is true regarding God’s word. Although God’s word is powerful enough to create everything we see, its power cannot be realized if the word is not placed in the proper conditions to support its growth.

In the case of a seed — too much sun and the plant is scorched. Not enough depth and the plant withers. But a seed planted in the proper soil will display its latent power by producing a harvest that’s 30, 60 and 100 times was was sown.

If you want to exponentially increase the results you’re getting in your life, then you need to take care to consistently “plant” God’s word in you, and ensure that his word is getting into into good soil.

The Word Is In You – Release It

Peter writes in 1 Peter 1:23 that when anyone gives his life to Christ he is “born again” of an incorruptible “seed”. That means that Jesus, (or the word of God), now resides in you if you’re a believer.

Since we also established that the word of God acts like a seed, then it follows that the more you speak the truth of God’s word over your life, the more that his words are planted in you giving you the potential for massive results!

God tells us through the prophet Isaiah that when he speaks his words never come back to him void, but that they always accomplish the purpose for which they are sent (Isaiah 55:11).

In the same way if God’s word is in you, and you speak his words over your life, you can expect those words to do what you tell them to!

  • Do you need a financial breakthrough? Then what words do you need to say to see that breakthrough happen?

  • Are you tired of never measuring up? What would your dream coach tell you to keep you focused on your strengths?

  • Are you ready to finally begin your life with your soul-mate? How will you use your words to create your preferred future?

Whatever words you use to speak about your life, will produce more of the same kind of results.

So if you’re tired of not seeing the kind of results you’re looking for out of life, you’ve got to change what you’re saying.

God’s words are laced with creative power, and if you put them in the right conditions and consistently speak them over your life, you’ll guarantee better and more consistent results – results which could be 30, 60 or even 100 times what was spoken.
